Here is the link for Scottish medium Sean Taylor talking about Evan John
Powell’s life, which he has been investigating. Very interesting as not
much has been published on Powell’s life before moving from Merthya
Tydfil to Paignton, just before the church opened in 1922. The hour long
webcast was set up by Gerald O’Hara. I understand that Eric Hatton knew
him and spoke highly of his physical mediumship. Wish I had known whilst
our dear Eric was still with us in body. It was Powell who convinced
Conan Doyle of the afterlife when his son spoke to him. The account is
referenced in my History of Paignton Spiritualist church.
